You will be joining Venminder as the founding member of a team to help identify and improve processes that are better suited to AI/ML tasks. Venminder has 11 years of customer data including a million+ documents pertaining to Vendor Risk that are ideal for processing with NLP. This is a unique opportunity to help improve a mature company by consulting with leadership and guiding a key strategic piece of the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Consult with business and technical teams to clarify software application intent. Identify software, data, and user patterns better suited to AI/ML tasks. Consult with leadership on how to augment and improve our software and services by using existing models and/or software packages. Where necessary, build tools and frameworks to develop and enhance a predictive model suite. Implement an NLP pipeline capable of understanding the human text in our large store of customer uploaded contracts and vendor risk documentation. Design and implement highly performing and highly scalable applications using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Assist in making architectural decisions for the future of the software and infrastructure that runs it. Analyze, design, and write software applications using user stories, design diagrams, and applying system architecture, design, and software development knowledge. Work with DevOps to create and manage CI/CD pipelines to deploy solutions. Conduct various testing cycles of the software applications to ensure they will consistently produce the desired results. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing software applications to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure proper performance and functionality.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area. 3+ years of professional experience writing Python code. Intermediate proficiency with SQL. Experience with CI/CD and automated testing. Comfort working in a Windows and Linux environment, Passion for exploring, applying, and following the evolution of cutting-edge technologies related to AI, machine learning, NLP and large-scale data processing. Team player DNA with a positive, self-starter attitude. Attention to detail, highly organized, with an absolute focus on quality of work.Preferred Requirements Professional experience with MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, .NET, Kafka, REST API design, and microservices application architecture. Familiarity with ClearML, Triton, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, H2O, DeepLearning4J, OpenAI, ClearNLP, cTAKES, CoreNLP, SyntaxNet and the Stanford NLP toolkit. Familiarity with statistics. Demonstrated expertise in successful large project/build management and execution.
