Apex Systems is currently hiring QC Lab Technicians in Erlanger, KY on multiple shifts and schedules! This opportunity is moving fast and has various shifts available. This role offers an entry-level start for a career in Quality Control with a fast-growing global company committed to advancing the abilities of its employees and promoting from within You will have you be fully trained to complete analysis of raw materials, finished products, expired materials, and contract manufactured items in a lab setting. You will also offer support to Production in making decisions, investigating non-conforming products, detailing Rejections/Deviations/Warehouse Dispositions, and maintaining QC Lab supplies and cleanliness. Schedules Available: 3rd shift (10pm to 6:30am)- MON-FRI, TUE-SAT, OR SUN-THURS 2nd shift (2pm to 10:30pm)- MON-FRI, TUE-SAT, OR SUN-THURS

Contract: 6 month with strong potential for permanent hire Pay Rate: $24/ Location: Erlanger, KY 41018

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follows basic GMP, ISO Procedures, GLP, Safety, Lab Notebooks and/or other electronic record keeping tools.
  • Supporting production operations.
  • Weighing dry and liquid products & preparing for shipment.
  • Executes standard sampling (Screen & Select) of finished products and flavors, flavor systems or specialty ingredients.
  • Coordination of sample shipments with shipping department in accordance to customer/salesperson guidelines.
  • Executes and maintains product retains for stability studies/troubleshooting on finished products, samples and/or flavors, flavor systems, specialty ingredients and retains.
  • Completes work on time and accurately.
  • Utilizes and continues to acquire basic ingredient knowledge.
  • Utilizes and continues to acquire basic product processing knowledge.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks daily, with the flexibility of re-arranging daily workload to accommodate higher priority needs.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required such as basic & the maintenance of ISO Work Instructions.
