Position Summary: The Cutover Lead is part of the global business transformation program. The Cutover Lead work closely with other leaders and team members within the business and IT to execute the pre-cutover, cutover, and post cutover activities. The Cutover Lead will be responsible to implement systems including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Coupa, and related systems. The Cutover Lead will partner with Business and IT stakeholders and design and drive global, enterprise system implementations. The Deployment organization is an enterprise capability established to ensure successful implementation of our enterprise solutions within the business using a consistent methodology and approach that delivers our enterprise goals within the defined release schedule. As a member of the global Deployment organization, the Cutover Lead will be responsible for updating the template for future cutovers during the global implementation of new systems. The Cutover Lead will also be responsible for coordinating with the project managers for testing, data migration, IT system cutover and legacy business process transition.

?Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both technical and business tasks
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the Cutover Plan as per the cutover standards
  • Responsible for detailed project management of the cutover and conversion deliverables to the new system, resolving discrepancies or process issues related to cutover
  • Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
  • Responsible for ensuring successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities and associated system outages
  • Managing relationships working on interrelated processes.
  • Communicating crucial release plans and changes.
  • Understand global standard processes and help identify areas where the business or the program may need backup or contingency plans for critical path cutover activities that are identified as higher risk based on upstream testing results of the solution and/or during testing of the cutover plan
  • Can host and facilitate online meetings and manage cutover command center calls during the go-live period and as we initiate Hypercare
  • Coordinate across IT and business focal points involved in testing, training and security role implementation in support of the deployment go-live
  • Post go-live, support resolution for critical defects or key risks identified during the cutover plan execution and/or during the initial start of Hypercare
  • Support execution of business continuity plans for a successful go-live as requested by the Cutover Leads or Deployment Leadership team members
  • Own the implementation of continuous improvements opportunities within our deployment processes and cutover plans as we implement our solutions across releases
  • Conducts cutover retrospectives to identify what went well, what didn't go well, and areas of improvement
Job Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of project experience in IT
  • Experience leading a global cutover team with team members located at multiple locations, geographies and/or time zones
  • Thorough understanding of project planning practices
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to use technical tools required to execute a cutover plan, especially MS Project
  • During the development of the cutover plan, has an ability to identify risks and can drive the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Ability to build a cutover plan and a can execute activities in a fast-paced environment during the pre- and post-go live periods
  • Process-orientation - this role needs to execute a large volume of activities planned in a specific sequence and a methodical and detail-oriented skillset is critical in this role.
  • Conflict management skills - ability to work through a variety of challenges and solve problems with a diverse group of team members at various levels within the organization
  • Solid English communication skills and ability to present information to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences including end users, project team members and Cutover & Deployment leadership
  • Able to adapt to change while working on a complex and large international program
  • Maintains a positive work environment through teamwork and effective working relationships across a globally distributed team and working styles
  • Ability to deal with multiple competing priorities and operate with a sense of urgency and delivery focus
  • Expected to work occasional weekends, holidays, overtime, or a variety of shifts, when needed, to meet deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objective
