Summit Technologies, Inc. has an opportunity for a

SharePoint/Knowledge Management Trainer. In this position you will help mature SharePoint capabilities and train the existing workforce on content management. This position has a hybrid work schedule and is located in Ft. Knox, KY. Candidates must have U.S. citizenship since this is part of a government contract and requires a Public Trust.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate information about the organization’s knowledge sharing processes and participate in training and orientation sessions.
  • Train end users to utilize new and existing SharePoint applications.
  • Support training sessions to maintain and implement knowledge management procedures.
  • Assist the client with the use of collaborative tools in order to share information across various organizations.
  • Monitor and redesign processes to ensure they are effective.
  • Provide documentation and technical support.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with SharePoint sites and applications.
  • Ability to mentor and provide training in various disciplines (e.g., SharePoint, InfoPath, Enterprise Content Management).
  • Experience using SharePoint 2013/2016.
  • Experience working with content management policies and procedures in a government/DoD environment.
  • Reporting and dashboarding experience utilizing SharePoint/SQL/Excel is a plus.

Education & Certification Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or an additional 4 years of work experience)
