Position Overview:We have a position open for an IT Training Coordinator to join our team in Frankfort, KY. This position will be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.The IT Training and Engagement Coordinator will develop, plan, organize, and execute a training curriculum for end users. Utilizing their exceptional communication skills, the Training Coordinator will work cross functionally with various teams and end users to produce a large scale training effort. This includes, but is not limited to, e-learning, workshops, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), webinars, conferences and producing follow-up documentation. Primary Responsibilities/Required Skills:

  • Must be proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Product Suite (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must. Must be task oriented and a self-starter. Must be proficient at scheduling, tracking status, planning events, planning curriculum, recording statuses, providing follow-up status documentation, etc.
  • Design and develop sustainable Training Documentation and Reference Material (Manuals, Reference Guides, etc.)
  • Execute unit integration and end-user acceptance testing according to the developed plan. Train end-users on how to use the the in-house system application. May participate in cross-functional teams to address business process or systems issues.
  • Develop and support e-learnings and Computer Based Training (MS Teams, Captivate, Camtasia, Webinar, etc.)
  • Must be able to provide technical support to end users
  • Provide documentation and follow up on all feedback from training events and disperse information to the team
  • A successful IT Training Coordinator will have the ability relate to and anticipate the training needs of their end users.
  • Proven record of problem solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
  • Must have a high level of self-accountability
  • Must possess interpersonal skills required to work with many different clients. Must be professional, supportive, diplomatic, flexible, and responsible.
Additional Skill Sets:
  • Should be a graduate of a college or university with a Bachelor s Degree; or a graduate of a college or university with an Associate s Degree; or experience commensurate to a 4-year degree.
Typical Duties for the IT Training Coordinator:
  • Schedule and execute training events (hands-on, remote, recorded/video, instructor led, simulations, group discussions/activities)
  • Produce training curriculum for the Project
  • Design/develop Computer Based Trainings
  • Provide support to end users
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to develop training courses/methods for end users
  • Participate and Lead in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Organize and Lead Computer Based Training Events
  • Develop Training Material (Manuals, Quick Reference Guides, and supporting documentations)
  • Provide Status updates and reports from training material
  • Communicate feedback from training events to team
