We have a position open for a Business Analyst to join our team in Frankfort, KY. The chosen BA will work on a large-scale application development project. Primary Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Lead or participate in requirements gathering/JAD sessions, working closely with Project Manager(s), SME's, Vendor and Business Users Define and document requirements and use cases Troubleshooting application and/or interfaces as problems arise. Troubleshooting report issues. Working with user community and vendors to meet implementation timeline. Support application/project go-live. Facilitating business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions. Required Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, and Visio) Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements, determining business solutions and verifying solutions meet requirements Strong understanding of SDLC methodology Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction Relationship management and facilitation skills Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient problem-solving skills Strong decision-making ability Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of public health WIC, child welfare, foster care, adoption 3+ years working in a Business Analyst position for a large-scale IT system
