We are currently seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence tools and experience with HL7.The selected candidate will be a member of a team who will be responsible for:

  • Creating Adhoc reports using business intelligence tools like Business Objects, Tableau, SQL Queries etc.
  • Analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Gathering requirements from the business users.
  • Translating business requirements into specifications that can be used to build reports.
  • Validate and test data produced on the reports with source systems.
  • Provide technical assistance to users.
  • Troubleshoot report issues.
In addition to these specific tasks, this individual must have:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with ability to work with large, disparate data sets, performing data mining, validation and analysis to trend and interpret information.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and appropriately communicate information to a diverse group: executives, managers, key internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Current working knowledge of SQL to write simple queries for data mining
  • Demonstrated experience with database management and strong excel skillset to further manipulate data and create reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to compose correspondence and reports. This includes the ability to interpret and tell the story of the data.
