We have a position open for a Technical Business Analyst to join our development team in Frankfort, KY. The Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the resolution of system issues, data validation, and ongoing system maintenance. The Business Analyst will also assist with ongoing development activities including documenting business requirements, technical requirements, and creation and execution of UAT test cases.Skill sets required:

  • At least 2 years experience on healthcare related projects developing and documenting business and technical requirements using interviews, document analysis, Gap analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • At least 2 years experience working with HL7 messaging, CDA/C32.
  • At least 2 years experience on healthcare related projects working with development teams to assist with creation and review of functional specifications and technical design documents to ensure technical design will support specific project goals and objectives.
  • Experience in CUAT and System Integration Testing of large scale healthcare related projects including hospital information systems.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required to facilitate healthcare system interfaces with disparate healthcare organizations and systems and to align with national and industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, vendors, providers, key internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and appropriately communicate information to a diverse group: executives, managers, key internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional Specifications, Technical Design Documents, Use Cases, Test Cases, Interface Designs, and reviews of vendor provided documentation).
Skill sets preferred:
  • Five years experience working with large scale healthcare related projects including hospital information systems developing and documenting business requirements, technical requirements and performing Gap analysis.
  • Previous experience working with HL7 messaging.
  • Intermediate MS Excel Experience, Basic MS Access Experience
  • Previous experience with Support Ticket Systems
  • Previous experience working on public sector healthcare related projects using HL7 messaging assisting with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing efforts.
