We have a position open for a Network/Service Desk Specialist to join our team in Frankfort, KY. This position is currently remote due to the offices being closed. Once the offices re-open this position will be 3 days remote/2 days onsite. The role of this position is to support technology services to a large number of clients/customers. These services primarily include Active Directory, Office 365, Google Apps for Education, SharePoint, multiple web applications, networking, security, desktop and peripheral support for staff, and maintaining our Incident Management System. Our team is responsible for creation and curation of incidents that are reported from our customer. There is a focus and a need for strong customer service. We are looking for an experienced candidate with at least 2 years of IT experience.1) Responsible for supporting the Information Technology customer base (throughout the State of Kentucky)2) Manages Standard Operating Procedures.3) Provide accurate documentation of incidents and problem resolutions.4) Maintain knowledge of Standard Help Desk Operating Procedures.5) Utilize troubleshooting techniques in support of Workstations, Networked Printers, Network hub/switches, routers, and circuits.6) Support of applications such as Office 365 and Active Directory.7) Support of operating systems on multiple platforms.8) Provide professional support to the customer base with the expectation of single call resolution.9) Good phone skills, good communication skills, and good listening skills are necessary.10)This position may require periodic on-call duty outside normal business hours to ensure that the supported systems are operating as intended and time sensitive deliverables are addressed.
