Calance Recruiters:KIANA AREVALO:JOANNE SMITH:SHERRIE KRAUS:SUMIT KUMAR:E M A I L: We will NOT accept 3rd Party (C2C) Contractors Position:Procurement Specialist JOB REF#:1005103Duration:2 Months (Contract)Location:Georgetown, KY 40324Rate:Open/Market Rate (W2 Only)Responsibilities include: Lead activity to procure parts for stamping die components Develop sourcing strategies, which result in supply base optimization Negotiate with supplier partners for cost savings and avoidance utilizing competitive bench-marking of detailed cost elements and analysis of cost variance Lead annual price review activities with suppliers to promote deep understanding of cost drivers with a focus on manufacturing improvement Participate in early die design work to optimize the design through value engineering and improvement Establish and assess cost standards to reach a consistent, efficient approach to pricing, including timely payment issuance Regularly report out to top management on cost KPI's including identifying and negotiating all design changes Understand and analyze automotive tooling trends to ensure Toyota is using the right supplier candidates and technologies Local candidates onlyREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher Professional experience in a direct purchasing role, including responsibility for analysis and negotiation of product and manufacturing cost Experience with RFQ (Request for Quotation) procurement system, including cost and supply base strategy analysis Experience with gap analysis and identifying trends with large scale data sets Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelCalance Consultant Benefits Offerings:- EPO/PPO Medical Plan (Cigna)- HMO/PPO Dental programs (Cigna) - Vision - VSP (Vision Plan Summary) - 401K VOYA Retirement vesting programVacancy expired!
