Our client, a world leader in bedding and manufacturing, is in need of a Senior Accountant to support Inventory Control. This individual will apply GAAP principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. This Direct Hire role located in Lexington, KY can provide the opportunity for an individual to grow in their career and join a team with core values in Purpose, Environment, and People. The company offers paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, 401k match and bonus! Due to the nature of the work, a few late nights and weekends are required. Responsibilities
- Analyze financial information including assets, liabilities, and expenses to prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports
- Maintain relationships with the company's 3PL provider who manages their Finished Goods inventory at their Distribution Centers
- Implement and monitor accounting procedures and internal controls
- Partner with the FP&A team to provide financial analysis and support forecasting
- Lead bi-annual cycle count audits
- Partner with branch locations to support monthly Cycle Counts and reconciliations
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or 3 years of related experience
- Great communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
