O'Nan Glass & Window is a family owned and operated commercial glass and glazing company located in the heart of downtown Lexington and proudly serving Central Kentucky and surrounding counties for over 40 years. We offer our clients a wide range of products and services that include aluminum door and entry systems, fixed and operable window assemblies, skylights, glazed curtainwall systems as well as aluminum composite panel systems.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Preparation of CAD shop drawings and submittal packages within a fast-paced
environment.
Review of construction documents and specifications with Estimators and Project
Managers.
Perform analytical problem-solving through various construction issues and detailing
conflicts when needed.
Generate cost estimates using software system and coordinate with vendors.
Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks and understanding building construction
documents and division of trades.
All other related duties.
Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD/drafting.
Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes a plus.
Technical knowledge of or familiarity with architectural construction detailing and
manufacturer fabrication processes.
Ability to effectively communicate with management and peers in a team building
environment.
Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
