Now hiring Fleet Mechanic III's at our Nicholasville, KY location! Primary duties of the MT3 include repair and maintenance of specialized vehicles and equipment to include aerial manlift, line construction, emergency services and support equipment within defined program guidelines. The MT3 performs operational and functional inspections, dielectric and applicable industry accepted NDT testing methods to aerial lift equipment compliant with the standards defined within ANSI/SIA A92.2-1990; ANSI/AWS B1.10-1986; ASTM 0877, F914-98, F1430-98, F1797-98; and OSHA 1910- 1926. The MT3 performs repair and maintenance operations on a variety of powered and non-powered equipment and vehicles to include, but not limited to, cranes, backhoes, trailers, trenchers, diggers and pole setting equipment, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments. Diagnosis maintains and repairs hydraulic systems, routes and replaces hydraulic lines; checks system for leaks and proper operation. Performs routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections checking and replaces fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.Â

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical training in automotive repair with five to seven years verifiable heavy truck and equipment repair experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities and may include the following:

Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)

ASE Master Technician certifications

Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Level Certification

Fluid Power Mobile Hydraulic Technician Certification
