Role - Oracle Apex Developer

Location - Remote ( Anywhere in USA)

The Oracle Developer will be responsible for designing and developing Clinical applications using Oracle hosted on-prem. This position will be responsible for the development and technical support of applications using Oracle Database/ Oracle Application Express a.k.a. APEX. This position will support efforts in providing reliable and accurate systems of record and will work closely with our IT and business users.

Oracle Developer Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating new Oracle stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages

• Responsible for creating new, maintaining existing ETL processes using Oracle PL/SQL language and OS provided scheduling software

• Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle/ Oracle APEX applications

• Development experience with PL/SQL and C language code, to the depth required to review code and understand technical problems

• Responsible for creating and scheduling Oracle APEX reports and data interfaces using Oracle API interfaces (e.g., REST)

• Responsible for data migration as part of installation, testing, and validation of Oracle Database supported objects

• Responsible for validation and testing as part of lean software development lifecycle

• Create new data process flows and documentation for development

• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and other Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years worked with emphasis in IT, computer systems or related field highly preferred

• Senior Developer

o 6+ years' experience developing and supporting Oracle Database 12c and above.

• Junior developer

o 4+ years' experience developing and supporting Oracle Database 12c and above.

• Experience supporting database applications of different types: OLTP, OLAP, and Warehouse

• Any experienced with Oracle APEX (version 19+) using Oracle APEX in the Oracle Cloud is preferable

• Experience with JavaScript, CSS , PowerShell, OS Shell Scripting preferred

• Experience with automating processes that involve manually intensive data processing

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Must have strong time management and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to pay attention to details, dealing with interruptions and changing timelines and priorities

• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of company

• Critical thinking skills with strong business acuity a must

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
