This position is for the ultimate hustler. Comoto is growing fast and we are looking for just the right enthusiastic and motivated manager to oversee our 240K sqft Louisville Fulfillment Center Our next manager will be laser focused on continuous process improvement while ensuring that our employees are empowered, engaged, motivated, and happy. This role will be responsible for either the Inbound or Outbound side of the operation. This role will have a counterpart in the other department.

A Day in the Life of Our Next Comoto Fulfillment Manager:

Inbound Fulfillment Manager

  • Supervise, train and lead a team of fulfillment personnel
  • Manage all aspects of Comoto's Louisville Inbound fulfillment operation, ensuring inbound product is received and put away in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the Inbound receiving and putaway process along with proactive storage planning and maintenance.
  • Intimately understand the business rules, software and vendor relationships related to Comoto's fulfillment operation and proprietary fulfillment platform
  • Day-to-day oversight of the fulfillment team; including hands-on training, coaching, planning, and performance reviews
  • Work with the on site Planning Manager to develop a staffing plan and adjust accordingly to handle daily, weekly and seasonal peaks
  • Manage seasonal fluctuations in inventory levels (types of inventory being stocked, and quantities) to ensure that warehouse storage is optimized
  • Complete accountability for meeting and exceeding goals related to accuracy, on time performance and productivity
  • Coordinate with peers to ensure a successful supply chain process
  • Communicates necessary business information to department through weekly team meetings and 1:1’s

Outbound Fulfillment Manager

  • Supervise, train and lead a team of fulfillment personnel
  • Manage all aspects of Comoto's Louisville Outbound fulfillment operation, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, quickly and efficiently. Always exceeding customer expectations
  • Overseeing the Business to Consumer(B2C) and the Business to Business (B2B) processes
    • Support Comoto Store operations to 140+ brick and mortar stores across J&P Cycles, RevZilla, and Cycle Gear stores.
  • Intimately understand the business rules, software and vendor relationships related to Comoto's fulfillment operation and proprietary fulfillment platform
  • Day-to-day oversight of the fulfillment team; including hands-on training, coaching, planning, and performance reviews
  • Work with the on site Planning Manager to develop a staffing plan and adjust accordingly to handle daily, weekly and seasonal peaks
  • Manage warehouse shipping supplies, ensuring inventory levels are properly maintained and costs are minimized
  • Complete accountability for meeting and exceeding goals related to accuracy, on time performance and productivity
  • Coordinate with peers to ensure a successful supply chain process
  • Communicates necessary business information to department through weekly team meetings and 1:1’s

Qualifications

Our Next Fulfillment Manager Has:

  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in a Fulfillment operations or similar distribution environment.Inbound or Outbound experience is strongly preferred.
  • Direct and Indirect management of 200+ employees, including managing multiple supervisors across different shifts.
  • Exceptional people & communication skills. Must possess the ability to motivate, coach and train in an ever-changing & competitive environment
  • Ability to analyze and continuously improve current conditions to ensure efficiency, safety and profitability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Extremely strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint and have 5+ years experience working within a WMS or ERP system
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving high growth environment
  • Must be goal focused and metrics driven
  • Must possess the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of a competitive and goal orientated environment
