DescriptionThe HQRI Program Delivery Professional 2 strategically identifies, develops, and implements reporting and metrics that influence providers, members or market leadership -based relationships. The Program Delivery Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.ResponsibilitiesThe HQRI (Healthcare Quality Reporting and Improvement) Program Delivery Professional 2 will be responsible for developing ad hoc reports and routine reporting to fulfill the needs and influence business decisions across Prospective Programs within Healthcare Quality Reporting and Improvement. The Program Delivery Professional 2 work will be varied and will require the ability to integrate data from multiple sources to produce the requested or required data elements needed for reporting. Good oral and written communication skills are required as the Program Delivery Professional 2 will be working with multiple business organizations at Humana, as well as external vendors in order to fulfill business needs. Additionally, this role requires knowledge of both Medicare and Clinical systems and data tables.
Complete routine dashboard and reporting reviews to identify potential process gaps and performance trends.
You will also provide a level of business acumen to ensure that the results are correct based on various data validation tests and approaches.
Ensure that alignment of data definitions and consistency of data sources for teams reports are aligned with operational and compliance metrics, as well as executive dashboards.
Continuously improve and implement enhancements to all processes.
Work closely with Vendor Data and IT teams to plan and provide oversight to the report configuration and workflow management of each report with the market and functional business teams.
Work with Business Areas, Markets, and Vendors to continually improve reporting and enhance capabilities needed to perform the required analysis.
Perform specific analyses to support business decisions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years Information Technology skills and experience with reporting/business intelligence tools against large databases, such as SAS or SQL
2+ years Data analysis experience
Experience analyzing and presenting complex data and proven problem solving abilities
Detail oriented and process and systems thinker
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Complete proficiency in Advanced Microsoft – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in a Healthcare, Health Technology or Informatics discipline
Candidates with a strong dual background in information technology (IT)
Knowledge of healthcare and/or medical, pharmacy and clinical data
Prior experience within the healthcare industry.
