Role: Power BI DeveloperLocation: Louisville, KYDuration: Fulltime with Atos SyntelDescription:
- Should have 7+ years of IT experience with 4-8 years of PowerBI Development Experience.
- Should have experience on advanced Power BI skills - can write DAX code and ability to understand/learn MDX.
- Has experience with data visualization and understands best practices.Designing, building, securing and deploying dashboards with visual content including charts, graphs and custom measures in Power BI
- Advanced SQL Database skills (SP, ETL, etc.), experienced in creating and using Star Schema for presenting data (various types of dimension tables as well as fact tables)
- Ability to pull data from various sources (SharePoint, SQL, Oracle, Excel, etc.), create automated scripts to cleanse, transform and load data into appropriate zone (landing, master, reporting)
- Perform data extraction and data manipulation on large datasets to achieve accurate and fast visualization on Power BI
- Transform data sets, perform analysis, validate data and structure it to be presented in compelling Power BI dashboards and reports for presentations to Senior Management and field teams
- Gather requirements from business teams, formulate requirements in technical documentation, design data structure, develop dashboards and publish to target audience
- Working closely with business users to help in adopting the dashboards and implement Feedback / enhancement requests.
