Job Description
The J&P Cycles / Comoto Fulfillment Center in Louisville is looking for its next QA Leads. There are two openings:- Monday - Friday, 5am - 2pm. Compensation is $18.00/hr
- Saturday - Tuesday 7am - 5:30pm. Compensation is $18.50/hr.
Are you prepared to take on a role as a Quality Assurance Lead? In this role, you will help support the day-to-day operations of our Outbound, Inbound, Returns and Inventory QA team members. By focusing on the issues that arise within these processes we can ensure a smooth and speedy customer experience.
Our Next QA Lead Should Expect To:- Manage End Of Day Cutoff Report to ensure all orders are addressed within 24 hours
- Manage Aged Reports, including but not limited to
- Aged Putaway
- Aged Pick
- Aged Pack
- Aged To Hold
Manage Inbound QA processes
Inbound PO research
Inbound Invoices
- Checking for discrepanciesFiling
- Working inbound tickets
- Researching inbound overages and shortages
- Creating and working Tickets
Manage item setup & location issues that would affect an order
- Item Dimensions
- Location Setup
- Items in D w/o commits
Ensure QA Team Members are trained and following the correct processes
Provide feedback & coach team members
Manage problem totes from inbound and outbound
Manage QA Dashboard
- Ensure all issues are being addressed within a 24 hour period
- Assign tasks to the team to be completed
Work closely with external departments to ensure feedback is being given and received
Work closely with external departments to ensure SOPs are being followed
Help build and maintain metric goals for QAs
Help with the transition between 1st and 2nd shifts
- Ensure communication and tasks are assigned from team to team
- Ensure each team communicates progress, stopping points, issues, etc. with each other.
Qualifications
Our QA Lead should have:- Extensive JDE Knowledge is preferred
- Working knowledge of receiving procedures acquired through on-the-job training
- Working knowledge of outbound procedures acquired through on-the-job training
- FC problem solving and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to assign tasks and delegate responsibilities
- Established communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Ability to interact and participate in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-driven environment
- Time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- May require the ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours
- Requires writing and math skills normally acquired through high school education
- Willingness to learn how to operate heavy machinery
