Job Description

Quality Assurance is an important part of every company's production, whether goods or services are produced. Workers who specialize in this area are a valuable part of the company, ensuring its continued success through quality of shipments and/or services given.

The Comoto Fulfillment Network is looking for Quality Assurance Specialists to work in our fulfillment center in Louisville.

We have openings on 1st shift AND 2nd shift.

1st shift is 5am - 2pm, Monday - Friday. Pay is $16/hr.2nd shift is 2:15pm - 11:15pm, Monday - Friday. Pay is $17/hr.

Successful Quality Assurance Specialists (also known as Inspectors)are normally inspectors, testers, samplers, sorters and weighing specialists. Inspectors are responsible for examining the merchandise visually and sometimes with the use of specialequipment to ensure it is functional.

  • Draft assurance policies and procedures
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
  • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspections systems
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise test and inspection of materials and products to ensure quality is maintained
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare reports to communicate results of quality inspection activities to management
  • Evaluate corrective actions
  • Monitor risk management activities
  • Responsible for document management system

Qualifications

This position has no specific educational requirements. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
