We are looking for a full-time

The Senior Research Manager – Modeling and Analytics, Power Solutions will have a strong background in power market analytics and experience in both team and commercial management of a product. The candidate will manage a team of market and product specialists to maintain quality and improve the depth of our models and analytics while staying on deadline.

The Senior Research Manager – Modeling and Analytics, Power Solutions will lead a group of highly respected market experts and contribute to delivering industry-leading models and analytics based on a blend of proprietary and public data. The successful candidate will also aid the commercial activities of the product, working directly with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

Wood Mackenzie’s ETP\Power Solutions team comprises industry experts who are detail-oriented, intellectually curious, commercially savvy, and comfortable presenting to clients.

Your work experience in fundamental power market research proves you hold these characteristics and are comfortable taking complex, disparate ideas and distilling them into simple, actionable analytics.

You have experience leading a productive team, effectively motivating and mentoring teammates to achieve positive results. In addition, you are adept at team resource management, particularly in terms of coordinating and negotiating within a larger internal group.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Markets and Industry With a minimum of 3 years of experience in the same, be responsible for team driving requirements and strategy of Market Simulation Modeling and Analytics in support of operations Leads a team that works daily with customers, sales, and onboarding to ensure that customers are satisfied and can extract actionable data and value from our products Lead and be a contributor to the team that liaisons with Product and Technology organization to provide and drive requirements for the product roadmap as the market and customers evolve, which includes but not limited to the following:

1. Provide thought leadership and resources for future models and analytics in existing and new power markets
2. Demonstrates insights and understanding of power market data, exchanges, and operations

Understand market competitors and their advantages and disadvantages to our services to drive and contribute to competitive strategies Support sales in business development representing as a market expert in our platform, data, and analytics Coordinate and ensure high-quality delivery of non-daily operational tasks such as Marketing Insights Provide people leadership through career growth and plans for the team#LI-TB1
