Looking for a person to assist owner of large mechanical HVAC company with the bidding process on commercial and residential HVAC projects. Person must have strong customer and computer skills base. Fast pace job which will require person to be able to multitask. A mechanical mindset is a positive. Must be able to pay attention to very fine details to ensure accuracy.
Experience in estimating a plus.
We stay busy year round doing new homes, commercial projects, apartments, schools, government project. We have triple in size over the past few years.
Job duties to include but not limited to;
- Getting plans from general contractors all over the nation.
- Sending plans out to suppliers to get pricing.
- Working on getting items together for bid process and send out bids
- Load calculations
- Designing of systems
- Material sheets and work orders
- Following up on bids
- Assisting with phones
- Helping with day to day task for owner of company

- Must be able to work full time. Have reliable transportation and on time daily.
- Work hours will be 8-5. Might have to work over time as needed.
