Required Skills:

  • 1+ years' experience within a helpdesk analyst role
  • Experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues
  • Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
  • Ability to perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements/upgrades/repairs/hotfixes
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving pc issues
  • Experience installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products
  • Experience performing on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users,
  • Ability to recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed
  • Ability to Apply and install approved upgrades, patches and hotfixes
  • Experience constructing, installing, and testing customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems
  • Experience overseeing network connectivity of all servers, workstations and other network appliances
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Service mentality and attitude

Desired Skills:

3+ years of IT experience

Bachelor's degree

Manufacturing industry experience

A+ Certification

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Helpdesk Analyst for its location in the KY area. The Helpdesk Analyst's role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment while insuring optimal workstation performance. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training and assistance where required. The ability to work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels is key, as well as the ability to manage issues received via incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems. The Helpdesk Analyst role is key for ensuring smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. This is a great opportunity to join a manufacturing industry leader!
