We are Allbrands.com, the first internet retailer for sewing machines, and a small family business. We have been in business since 1976. We are looking for a passionate member to join our work family.

Job Title: Retail Store Manager

Reports Directly To: Director of Operations

Supervises: Retail Store Employees

General Description: It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that the retail store runs

smoothly, increase overall store sales and manage the store employees.

Job Required Tasks:

 Maintain a proper mix of sales in the store

 Educate the customers on new and existing products/services

 Educate the customers on financing opportunities

 Show other products that complement customer purchases

 Create a positive buying experience for each and every customer

 Abide by all the procedures set forth by the Corporate Office

 Responsible for reading and implementing any correspondence from the Corporate Office

 Introduce all customers to new products in the store

 Abide by all accounting procedures set forth by the Corporate Office

 Make sure that the store is visually maintained on a daily basis

 Responsible for making sure that displays are rotated out to keep from looking old or sun faded

 Make sure that only current inventory is displayed on the sales floor

 Make sure that employees are at the store no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time and stay no longer than 30 minutes after the store closes

 Follow company dress code

 Your store should look good enough that the Corporate Office could use it in a magazine cover picture

 Make an impression on the customers with your professionalism

 Sales floor must be kept clean and organized at ALL times with no safety hazards

 Greet customers within 5 seconds of walking in the store

 Assist customers in carrying in and out machines if needed

 Follow all inventory transfer in/out procedures set by the Corporate Office

 Follow the ordering program set by the Corporate Office

 All sales must capture customers information including name, address, phone number and email address

 Check in all shipments that the store receives

 Nothing comes in or leaves the store without documentation

 Make sure that classes are scheduled and teachers are secured

 Bank deposits must be made daily except on Sundays and Holidays

 Participate in special outside training programs and events

 Make sure that all doors to retail are locked and the alarm is set each night at closing

 Any other duties deemed necessary by a member of upper management
