Summary: Meta is seeking a highly motivated professional with experience in security compliance and regulatory frameworks to assist in developing and maintaining a security program around subsea cable infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the technical program team, legal, policy, and engineering teams in overseeing subsea compliance and ensuring accountability across the space.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of how networks and network infrastructure are built/procured, operate and are maintained, can find creative solutions to complex issues, have excellent communication skills, be an effective and skilled negotiator and have the ability to manage large scale projects. To succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive and able to multitask efficiently and effectively to manage competing priorities.Required Skills: Network Security Program Specialist Responsibilities:Design at a program level the development of and maintenance sub-processes to ensure compliance initiatives pertaining to government and regulatory bodies are met for Meta’s submarine and deployed network infrastructure.

Develop understanding of both production and enterprise network environments and how management and operational aspects map to Meta security policies that align with company-wide compliance and regulatory controls.

Collaborate and align with engineering, legal, and Infosec teams in tracking work related to satisfying compliance initiatives.

Create, maintain, and continuously improve security policy, processes and documentation for Meta to understand/interpret regulatory obligations.

Create a process for auditing logical and physical security controls as defined by our security framework and ensure Meta is accountable for meeting regulatory requirements.

Developing periodic reporting for leadership and regulators which details the state of compliance program, including audit assessments and violations (e.g., annual reports, proposed equipment/ vendor, contract, policy changes).

Establish processes to provide oversight that our security framework is implemented.

Carry out routine filings, as well as creating processes for review of filings and sign-offs prior to submission to government agencies.

Drive remediation of findings from gap analysis of the network space.

Align with security partners to establish internal communications and guidance surrounding Meta Subsea infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Finance, or Business Administration.

Critical thinking, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in end-to-end project management and executing audit projects with cross-functional collaboration.

Experience operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects/initiatives.

Problem solving skills that demonstrate critical thinking and “outside-the-box” approach to reach a solution.

Collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Big 4, Management Consulting, Internal Audit and/or Compliance.

Internal audit, risk management/compliance and/or information security experience in the technology sector and/or professional services assurance.

CIPP, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or other relevant professional certification.

Subject matter knowledge in US-state and/or Latin America, EMEA, APAC privacy regulations.

Experience flourishing in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity and stay on top of business and product changes that could affect compliance requirements.
