Grass Master is looking to hire experienced Landscaping Crew Members for Baton Rouge, LA!
$50 bonus after 30 days.
The experienced Crew Member is responsible for working alongside other crew members to complete lawn maintenance/landscaping duties within budgeted time with the proper quality. Crew members will be assigned tasks to be completed by the Crew Leader.
Experience using zero turns, edgers, weed eaters, blowers, trimmers, etc. a huge plus
Duties and responsibilities:
Using hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape and lawn
maintenance functions.
Mowing and cutting lawns using differently sized power mowers including both walk behinds
and ride on mowers.
Trimming and edging lawns/ground cover using a gas powered edger/trimmer.
Operating a gas-powered blower for debris cleanup.
Trimming shrubs, grasses, ground covers and small trees to shape and improve growth.
Knowledge of how to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using either hand pruners,
shears, loppers, handsaws or gas powered hedge trimmers.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months landscaping/lawn maintenance experience.
Must be Reliable, hardworking and detail oriented
Must be able to stay on task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Stands and walks for long periods of time throughout the day.
Squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from ground frequently.
Full extension of arms above head and in front of body.
Consistently lifts weight of up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally carries and pushes/pulls weights of up to 50 pounds.
Fine motor skills required for use of small equipment and hand tools.
