Our LeasingÂProfessionalsÂare the first impression of the property and must present a level of professionalism and unparalleled customer service. Your objective is to positively guide potential residents through the entire move-in process. This is accomplished through answering phones and persuading prospective residents to visit the property in a friendly and professional manner, as well as, consistent and timely follow-up calls and emails to prospective and/or current residents, conducting property tours and working with the potential residents to complete their application.

Responsibilities

Generates and handles traffic, qualifies prospective residents, leases apartments, prepares lease documentation, and completes move-in paperwork and procedures.

Collect rental deposits and rent.

Ensures models, make-readies, and designated show apartments are in touring condition daily.

Communicates, as requested and with approval, on social media and on-line advertising sites.

Orients prospective and current residents to the property and greets all guests promptly.

Processes renewal paperwork and ensures documentation is delivered to current residents as required.

Maintains accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering all applicable information into the computer.

Follows up with all prospective residents via phone, mail or email and prospect portals.

Converts phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents in order to tour the community and enters all traffic into the computer in an accurate timely fashion.

Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promotes a quality living experience for all residents.

Inspects apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensures apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team.

Creates and maintains confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents.

Completes weekly leasing reports in accurate and timely fashion.

Ensures all open and close procedures are completed daily, including but not limited to, opening and closing show units and office.

Qualifications

1+ years prior leasing experience within the multifamily industry required.

High energy, creative and loves to sell with ability to provide strategic marketing ideas and plans.

Strong communication skills with ability to give presentations over the phone and in person.

Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel; Yardi software knowledge required.

Positive, friendly, and ambitious attitude with excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills.

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff.

Strong passion for delivering top-notch service to help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention possible.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.

Dependable and punctual with flexibility to work weekends.
