Superlift, a Truck-Hero company, is currently hiring a new team member to join our Design Engineering Department in our growing West Monroe, Louisiana manufacturing and fabrication operations.

Position Requirements:
Draft and create detailed drawings, sketches, and profiles used in the planning and construction of various physical projects and products.
Follow direction to create, form, and design variations for consideration.
Effectively utilize computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
Create designs from verbal or written instructions.
Work collaboratively with team members to determine nature and type of required drawings.
Work to mistake-proof manufacture, assembly, and installation operations in the design and features of drawings produced.
Perform a range of product research & development tasks as determined and assigned by the Engineering department, effectively applying sound mechanical skills and design principles.
Work efficiently, utilizing the application of the principles of 3D modeling. Apply a basic understanding of automotive drivetrain and suspension geometry.
Create clear and precise written technical documents and annotations.
Education and Experience:
Degree from an accredited institution in Drafting or a minimum of one year of work experience in the automotive/mechanical field.
Experience with MS Office Products.
Experience with basic principles of 3D modeling. SolidWorks experience a plus.
