Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves analysis of financial systems for manpower utilization in terms of alternative methods of budget estimates for programs in which objectives, work processes, staffing needs and funding requirements are subject to change. TDA documentation to identify required and authorized manpower end strength; resolving problems between authorization documents and changes in mission; researching problems in order to determine resolutions in support of manpower documentation; providing guidance and feedback to managers on manpower resources; developing options to assist managers in improving recruitment strategies; and/or assisting with analyzing a variety of TDA and human resources guidance to ensure compliance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
