At the full performance level (GS-15) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:1.Serves as a senior advisor to management and executive leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans in support of achieving the program objectives.

Plans, coordinates and oversees major initiatives or projects to develop and implement new systems and/or processes that may have Bureau/Department-wide application.

Works with team members enacting an initial repeatable process for performing reviews and assessments, and documenting, analyzing, and reporting findings.

Guides management in effectively implementing planning efforts for current and future performance requirements.

Consults with key managers and stakeholders to ensure that all implications are identified, weighed, and considered in study and discussion of effective resource use and distribution. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval. GS-15: $126,810.00 - $164,858.00 per annum. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level. Specialized ExperienceTo qualify for the GS-15, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1): Serving as a senior advisor to management and executive leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans in support of achieving program objectives; 2): Developing detailed plans to improve efficient operations, implementing plans and initiatives to achieve mission objectives; 3): Plans, coordinates, and oversees major initiatives or projects to develop and implement new systems and/or processes that may have Bureau or Department wide application; 4): Develops and implements program policies, plans, guidelines, proposals, processes and recommendations on issues which cross functional lines.
