The Telemetry JNT is responsible for delivery of non-professional customer care according to the established policies of the department, West Jefferson Medical Center and the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. The Telemetry JNT demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assist the nursing personnel in providing care to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, medical, surgical, and post critical care needs. The Telemetry JNT focuses on the care of cardiac and post surgical cardiac patients on telemetry. The Telemetry JNT works in collaboration with and under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) in the delivery of care to patients who are at minimal-to –moderately high risk, and to a large extent care is routine, standardized and outcomes are predictable. The Telemetry JNT recognizes his/her personal and legal limitations and seeks assistance and guidance appropriately.Job Specifications - Education and ExperienceRelated Experience: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program with good standing; Junior level (Required)
