EXPERIENCED Mortgage Field Inspectors needed
Areas include:
Alexandria: Rapides, Avoyelles, and Great Parishes
Hammond: Tangipahoa and Livingston Parishes
Position includes but is not limited to:
- Covering multiple counties in coverage area
- Verifying occupancy of residences, leaving door hangers, inspecting insurance losses, completing a walk-though at vacant properties
- Completing inspections and reports on location with app software from Android or iPhone device
- Meeting strict deadlines and due dates
- Completing substantial amount of driving from one location to the next
- Ability to use routing software to optimize up to 50+ locations daily
The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
- MUST be Reliable
- Have the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet strict deadlines and due dates
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have current auto insurance
- Must have GPS on phone or other device
- Must have a computer with a printer and scanner
- Have a clean background check
- Weekday availability as this position is NOT strictly a night/weekend job
- Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Experience with IA, EZ Inspections, or Safeguard a plus but not a requirement
Benefits include:
- Control of your own schedule and flexibility
- No fuel or travel reimbursement is offered but mileage is tax deductible
- 1099 Independent Contractor form provided at the end of the year
- Paid per inspection completed
- Average pay after expenses is up to $20 an hour
