We are searching for a Supervisor to work at a well-established Doggie Daycare and Boarding Facility in Uptown New Orleans. Supervisors are responsible for the safety and security of pets, customers, associates and other visitors and ensures the proper care of all animals in the facility. Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day operations of Canine Connection by effectively communicating, assigning, and following up on daily tasks and duties, motivating and ensuring employees are working toward a common goal. The ideal candidate must have flexible availability.
Responsibilities
Represent Canine Connection in a professional manner in areas of Customer Service
Have proficient knowledge of all services we provide and the requirements
Maintain confidentiality of client information, company data, and employee information
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
Ensure the safety of all pets and employees in the facility
Make and confirm client reservations in person, online and over the phone
Some travel required in the New Orleans area
Check dogs into and out of the facility
Client billing
Requirements
Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
Skilled at handling dogs in a group setting
Skilled at handling dogs in a kennel setting
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent phone skills
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
Ability to work well with clients and co-workers
Excellent organization skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Have a good driving record and a valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Graduate
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a kennel or doggie daycare
Experience working in doggie daycare preferred
