New Orleans A/E firm is in need of an in-house mechanical engineer for a variety of building types. Responsibilities include establishing an overall HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design, coordinating with architects and engineers, and maintaining the profitability of each project. The position requires interaction with clients, preparing a written scope narrative, producing design and construction document drawings with specifications, and construction period services.
Required Qualifications
Accredited professional degree in Mechanical Engineering
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana
A minimum of 5 years of work experience within a professional architecture and/or engineering firm.
Commercial and governmental building design experience
Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
