Job SummaryThe Network Engineer will be a key member of IT department reporting directly to the VPOTIT. The successful candidate will be a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, strong commitment to deadlines and team, is process oriented with a high sense of ownership in their work, possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and has a superior foundation with providing technical guidance on networking solutions, technology roadmaps, and product plans. Duties & Responsibilities- Provides technical planning and security analysis for all network communication activities including designing, integrating, installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, monitoring, reporting and documentation, working with appropriate vendors, and preventative maintenance services
- Monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources on for multiple interconnected sites utilizing current software and hardware tools
- Analyzes network performance, usage, traffic flows, access, and interfaces
- Identifies and diagnoses problems affecting network performance
- Performs testing, provisioning, operating, and emergency response for ongoing network operations
- Oversees and manages the deployment of upgrades to existing data, telecom, and related systems in a multi-location environment
- Ensures all required operational and support documents are current
- Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in online media, cloud service, storage solutions, and other data center technologies
- Interfaces with and manages vendors and service providers to insure business needs are met and challenges resolved
- Promote, ensure, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for your fellow workers and yourself so that everyone goes home injury-free,
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Industrial Regulations, Environmental Protection Act and Regulations and HSE policies, programs, and procedures,
- Responsible for identifying and reporting workplace HSE hazards and concerns to your supervisor immediately and providing solutions (if aware of any) to address these concerns as requested, and
- Immediate reporting of all work-related injuries/illness to your supervisor

- 8+ years of network experience; with 2 years of specialized experience
- Prefer Bachelors degree in computer science or related field (May be substituted for additional years of experience)
- Certification preferred: Current CISSP and/or CCNP, Active CCIE certification is plus
- Experience with engineering multi-site, secured, IP backbone networks in a multi-vendor, multiprotocol environment, including networks based on T1, DS3, Fiber/Optical, DSL, Ethernet, and Ethernet over Copper core.
- Experience with the following protocols, BGP, vDC, vPC, VRF's, Spanning-Tree, VLANs, 802.1q, QoS, Cisco ASA with Active/Active Multiple Contexts
- Firewall Experience Required- Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Forcepoint SW, Palo Alto etc.
- Expert level configuration of Cisco and Meraki routers and switches.
- Experience with Network Management Apps - Cisco ACS/ISE, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds
- Demonstrated strong communication skills;
- Collaborative and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, to adapt quickly and to manage changing priorities;
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with project needs accommodated occasionally off business hours.
- Travel is a requirement for the position to various CenTrio locations across the USA
