Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, LA, under the NASA
Marshall Space Flight Center organization. In this role, you will
serve as an expert consultant on a broad range of projects and
programs that have national impact for the Agency and involves
facility users/tenants and other MAF personnel to achieve necessary
Agency Program and Mission objectives.Learn more about this agencyResponsibilities
You will be the primary NASA Point of Contact for assigned MAF
tenants in order to solicit and refine tenant requirements for
prospective new tenants, as well as existing MAF tenants.
Work with tenants to understand future needs, provide data on
MAF capabilities, and resolve scheduling conflicts pertaining to
the use of MAF equipment and facilities. Coordinate and
de-conflict requests for increases or decreases of occupancy
space.
Coordinate with other Production Support Systems Managers
(PSSMs) and matrixed organizations to ensure that tenant
operations are fully integrated and potential conflicts are
identified and resolved.
Actively participate in the development of NASA Agreements such
as Enhanced Use Leases (EUL) and Space Act Agreements (SAAs).
Ensure that adequate budgets and schedules are developed to
support tenant requirements.
Communicate daily with Site Operations Contractor
representatives (Production Support Lead Engineers) to ensure
Contractor manpower and resource availability as well as filter
tenant requests to appropriate organizations.
