Sensitive to estrogen pills? See if you pre-qualify for our estrogen-free contraceptive patch clinical trial. We’re looking for healthy women 16 years of age or older and living with obesity. The study patch and all health assessments and medical tests will be provided to you at no cost.
You or your daughter may be eligible to take part in the Empower Study if either of you:
are a healthy woman 16 years of age or older
are sexually active
wish to prevent pregnancy for at least 12 months
have a BMI over 30
A patch is an alternative for women who cannot or prefer not to take daily pills. A patch is also less invasive than other forms of contraceptives such as injections, implants, or intrauterine devices.
Participants will apply the study patch once every week and be asked to complete a daily diary.
