Mid-City Yacht Club is looking for a cook and food runner. Cooking experience a must. Most importantly, we need someone who is flexible and committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience. Must be available on nights, weekends and holidays.
FYI, this is not a real Yacht Club; it's a sports bar
FOOD RUNNER: Barbacking and food prep experience preferred
Some job duties, each shift include:
- Running food downstairs to customers
- helping the bartenders with whatever they need
- picking up dishes and glasses around the bar
- prepping food
- general cleaning
This is an hourly wage + tips job. You are tipped out a percentage of the food sales at the end of your shift, by the bartenders.
COOK job duties:
- Constantly prepping food
- cooking food and working with the runner to get food out on time
- general cleaning
Cooks are paid by the hour, and the paychecks come every two weeks.
The staff here is really fun and chill, and everyone is really easy to work with. You just need to be reliable, trainable, and have a great attitude!
