RAMADA Metairie- New Orleans Airport is located in the heart of Metairie's Business District. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This is a Full-Time Position that includes 2 overnight shifts and 3 evening shifts. Previous Security and Maintenance Experience A MUST.
The person that is in the position of Loss Prevention / Maintenance Support is responsible for hotel guest room preventative maintenance and will assist in the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment and property along with security patrol of the property and systems throughout the night. In this position you are not only responsible for maintenance projects but you are responsible for the safety and security of the hotel and hotel guests.
Loss Prevention Officer Responsibilities: patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access - Monitor alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system - Lock property entrances when required - Conduct routine inspections of equipment - Respond to accidents, contact Police and/or EMS when required - Assist guests and employees during emergency situations - Attend to and defuse guest & employee disturbances - Complete incident reports to document all incidents - Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting regular business and guests - Complete daily checklists
Responsibilities of Hotel Maintenance - Respond to all guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner¨ - keep exterior of the property maintained - complete work order requests - maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition - inspect public areas daily for any issues¨ - providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms and public areas - maintain the guest rooms Preventative Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records on file

Job Qualifications - Must have at 1 year of previous maintenance/ security experience - Must be responsible and punctual -Must have be able to follow directions as instructed - Must have a positive want to work attitude and have great people skills- must be available to work all shifts including weekends- Drug Free Environment
