Medical assistant needed for our popular, fast-paced dermatology practice in Metairie. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, administering IM steroid injections, assisting in surgical excisions of the skin, sterilizing instruments, stocking supplies, managing inventory, and organizing/tracking laboratory reports. Applicant must be professional, dependable and punctual. Previous dermatology experience and quality references are a plus, as is familiarity with electronic medical records.
