Position: NOTARIAL ASSISTANT or PARALEGAL
Description: Small Title Co. seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time experienced individual to coordinate closing process for residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Primary Duties:
Draft and process legal documents and professional correspondence
Schedule closings
Perform all post-closing procedures - - recording and filing of closing documents, disbursement of funds, preparation and delivery of closing packages, monitoring and ensuring timely filing of lenders' lien releases and satisfactions, etc.
Communicate effectively and professionally with all clients, vendors, lenders and other third parties
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
Provide administrative assistance and support for Title Agent/Attorney
Experience: 1+ years in a similar capacity; proficient with SafeEscrow (required)
Status: 1099 (Independent Contractor)
Hours: Flexible
Compensation: Negotiable
