POOL MONITOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Pool Monitor
Association: The Mayfair Apartment Homes
Reports to: Bethany Lightfoot
Dates of Employment: June 11, 2020 through approximately September 2020
SUMMARY: To monitor the adherence to the pool rules by all residents and their guests who visit the The Mayfair Apartment Homes Pool to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS
Report to work on time and follow designated dress code.
Cell phone, text messaging and computer usage and reading will be MINIMAL in the presence of residents.
Be visible and accessible at all times throughout your shift.
Know and fully understand ALL rules associated with The Mayfair Apartments pool.
Be respectful at all times to residents, their guest, and your co-workers.
Oversee the behavior of all guests making sure the behavior is within the guidelines set forth in the Pool Rules.
Inform any guest of essential rules that they may have overlooked or violated in a forthright and agreeable manner.
Ensure all areas associated with pool usage are safe.
Keep the pool deck safe and clean; including sweeping and washing as needed.
Fully understand the components of proper chemical maintenance of the pools as addressed in orientation and keep appropriate records.
Pool Monitor Shirts must be worn at ALL times.
Communicate fully any issue that may arise during your shift to The Mayfair Apartment Homes Management, Bethany Lightfoot is your Direct Supervisor.
At the end of the evening shift, organize the deck furniture: chairs under tables and lounge chairs neatly placed around the pool fence line.
Additional duties as assigned by The Mayfair Apartment Homes.
Failure to comply with the expectations above may result in termination by The Mayfair Apartment Homes Management.
Must punch in/ punch out, at appropriate time. If you have any issues doing so, please notify Management immediately.
