Shoe Be Do & Nola Foot Candy are very busy shoe stores in the French Quarter. We are seeking an experienced high energy, positive sales person to join our team. We are all about hard work and getting rewarded! Duties will include sales, providing outstanding customer service, merchandising, maintaining inventory and assisting with duties assigned by management. We focus on self-improvement and development at all stages and a willingness to continually learn, improve and grow both personally and professionally is required.
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a retail environment
Willingness and ability to meet and exceed set sales goals
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with others in a kind, respectful manner
Ability to complete tasks and follow through on projects
Ability to multi task and handle multiple customers at one time
Reliable transportation to and from work
Available nights, weekends and most holidays for full time (40 hours/wk)
A strong desire to learn about obscure shoe labels and accessories that we import from all over the world.
Ability to stand for periods of time and lift at least 25 lbs.
Compensation is hourly based on experience plus a monthly bonus based on team sales achievements.
Experience in retail shoe sales and fashion is a huge plus
