Full- time skilled Porter/ marine technician assistant wanted at busy boat shop in Shreveport, LA.
Responsibilities include:
Perform maintenance and repair jobs in a timely manner, as assigned by the Service Manager
Troubleshoot engine issues and repair carefully, so as to prevent any returned work
Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness of self, work area and customer's products
Run errands, clean boats and/or shop
The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing Mercury, Yamaha, MerCruiser, and Volvo, etc. engines and be a team player with flexible hours. It is also required to have a valid drivers license and transportation. Pay and benefits will be discussed based on education and experience.
