Job Description

The candidate must have prior VA experience and currently have a VA badge

The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for ensuring that performance, functionality, ease of use, and security factors are given appropriate consideration and that the solutions are successfully implemented in a cost-effective, timely, and highly collaborative manner. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Use an Agile incremental delivery approach, supporting incremental development of high-quality and producing a fully tested application component every 2 weeks
  • Assist development and test teams with acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required
  • Perform code peer reviews
  • Provide technical leadership and influence general architectural decisions and design stability
  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture, or new technologies
  • Participate in build planning, documentation, and Sprint planning and execution
  • Integrate new or modified software into existing systems or operating environments

Qualifications

  • Experience working with or using SharePoint and SharePoint controls
  • Experience programing ASPX web forms
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and working with SqlDataSource controls
  • Experience working with Json, JMeter and PostMan
  • Experience working with web APIs
  • Experience with C#, JQuery, JavaScript and CSS
  • Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
