Job Description
General Summary of Job Duties:Conducts analysis of Rotational Training Unit Brigade Command and Control (BC2) planning and operations, provides analysis as needed to client military leadership, contract supervisors and other civilian personnel. Coordinates and conducts daily briefings with military and civilian leadership. Collects and enters reports from client military personnel and other contract personnel, conducts operational and doctrinal research and organizes collected information for use in other tasks. Assists the military TAFF officer and contract TAFF Lead in the preparation and execution of daily Brigade TAFF collection and reporting tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:Must possess the ability to communicate over assigned radio using proper military communications procedures. Ability to work shift work with extended hours, up to 12 hours per shift. Ability to articulate military style writing when transcribing radio communications into written reports.
Qualifications
Mental/Physical requirements:Must be able to travel unassisted to continental US and foreign locations. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening.
Education/Experience Requirements:High School Diploma, previous analyst or data collection experience with the JRTC contract or similar position. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Desired Experience:Active Duty or Reserve experience in a Combat Arms occupational specialty. Graduation from Battle Staff Course or one of the following Army schools: Officer Basic, Officer Advance Course or Advanced NCO Course. Associates degree or equivalent.
Security Clearance:Must be eligible for a
Secret Security Clearance.Additional Information
