Job Description:
  • The Division of Procurement Services is recruiting a no-code, Dynamics developer to follow up after Microsoft completes standing up our environment in order to assess their existing functionalities, architect augmentations, and set up effective workflows throughout the testing phases within the Procurement Services' Dynamics environment and SharePoint document repository site.
  • This project will complete an eProcurement tool and portals with a comprehensive database and track the workflow of procurement documents.
  • This project will create an IT Procurement module that will replace the existing JIRA system, currently in place.
  • The purpose of this module is to allow seamless, collaborative reviews with various State agencies and employees, as well as manage IT Procurement Staff workload (eg. Dashboards).
  • As part of the IT Procurement module, there will be a need to integrate the State's financial and eProcurement system, CGI Advantage.
  • The second phase of the project will include establishing a Competitive Procurement module, which will include an evaluation team and vendor portals for a turnkey proposal submission and an evaluation documents compilation component.
  • In addition, the project seeks to complete the consolidation of our multiple RFP associated databases and improve functionality with secure and useable workflows through O365-global as well as establish pertinent metric collection through Dynamic Dashboard and customized reporting.
  • Dynamics has the ability to workflow documents attached to databases, in concert with O365, and to facilitate our search and reporting functionalities.
  • Improving our modification tracking ability, Dynamics in association with SharePoint archives previous versions of documents and logs each edit by time, date, and user.
  • The two (2) Programmer 5 (PR5) resources will be developing the Dynamics modules, identified above.
  • As stated above, the Division of Procurement Services already has a Dynamics environment and as such, the PR5 will be building upon the existing SPRC workflow to add additional workflows/modules in the no-code Dynamics environment.
