Residential Youth Counselor: Weekends

Job Description

• 1st Shift- 8am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays

• 2nd Shift-
  • 2-10pm Sunday through Thursday
  • 2-10pm Saturdays
  • 3-11pm Fridays and Saturdays
  • 4pm-12am Fridays and Saturdays

• 3rd Shift- 12am-8am Fridays and Saturdays

Park Place Gorham is a small, therapeutic residential group home for six boys ages 7-13. Our Residential Youth Counselors provide daily structure and care for the children and work to provide support, behavioral management skills, crisis intervention and a constructive environment to help them fulfill their potential and set them on a path for success.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent services to our residents and creating a positive staff culture.

Qualifications

• Have a completed High School Diploma,
• Have 1-2 years of experience working with children in the mental health field (residential facility experience preferred)
• Have experience with behavioral health and crisis intervention,
• Have CRMA and OQMPH Certification (preferred but will train)
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of auto insurance,
• Have a compassionate, positive attitude and strong work ethic,
