Currently seeking a highly ENERGETIC and MOTIVATED individual to join our team here at Whatever Is Clever Licensed Family Child Care! The children in our care can range from 6 weeks-5 years of age. So we need someone with the energy to keep up with them all day! We care for 12 children each day with two full time staff members on duty at all times. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm. We are looking to hire a teacher who is available to work from 9:00am-5:30pm each day, although availability to come in as early as 7:00am is of course appreciated on the rare occasion it is needed! This job position is a full time, year round position. Our child care does NOT follow the school calendar, but we have our own scheduled holidays and vacation closures. So please be aware of that if you are applying and have children of your own :) Also please be aware that our child care is full and that there is no room for more children! Our ideal candidate will possess all of the following qualifications:
-A love for young children!
-The ability to MULTI-TASK! This is a busy work environment! Our job requires not only entertaining the children, but also planning and implementing monthly theme activities. We also prepare food and keep a clean and tidy work environment!
-Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and other staff!
-Ability to have fun in the classroom while still maintaining order!
To be eligible for hire our ideal candidate will need to:
-Have previous experience working with young children.
-Pass a criminal background check
-Have their first aid and cpr certification (or be willing to immediately obtain upon hire).
-Be able to complete 12hrs/year of CE (specific trainings are required upon initial hire to be completed within 90 days).
-Reliable transportation to get to work as we are located on the outskirts of town.
