Construction Specialist 1
Provide administrative and technical support to the project superintendents and project manager.
Supervise and direct overall project activities as assigned.
Provide technical, field, and administrative direction to field personnel
Prepare and review submittals Issue construction documents and layout to field crews
Prepare and interpret specifications drawings for foreman and superintendents
Maintain and edit all field as built drawings for project
Complete requests for information (RFI) Maintain/Update Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reporting Coordinate timely arrival of parts, equipment, construction materials, and installation with field personnel and vendors Assist in developing purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment to the client Perform surveying functions and verify final locations and elevations
Assist in preparation of required documentation records such as: conforming bid documents from addenda, status reports, Operations and Maintenance manuals, warranties, spare parts, punch lists.
Assist with design engineers and labor/subcontractors to determine solutions for unexpected site conditions
May attend meetings with Owner, subcontractor and associated project personnel.
Develop plan reading and strong visualization skills.
Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline. 0 - 1 year experience.
