The Hartwell House Inn, a 16 Room Select Registry Bed and Breakfast in Ogunquit, Maine is seeking a new team member for our Front Desk department.
Candidates must be detail oriented, hard-working, self-starters with who are punctual (with reliable transportation).
We have high standards and are seeking similarly-minded candidates who have a desire to work at one of the premier lodging properties in coastal Maine.
You must love people, have a professional appearance, and have excellent phone skills/presence.
Duties for this job include answering the phone, taking reservations, checking in guests, assisting guests with dinner/recreation plans, assisting in afternoon tea setup/breakdown, and other inn-related tasks, as necessary.
The Hartwell House Inn is a non-smoking environment. All applicants are subject to criminal background checks.
This position is for 5 days (32 to 35 hours a week) - and it includes 3 nights (1:30pm to 8:30pm) and two mornings (8:30am to 1:30pm). Weekend/Holiday work required.
This job is seasonal - we are looking for a job candidate who is able to work with us until at least the end of October. There may be a possibility for some year round work for the right candidate.
